A popular setup for the 9x10

Many people who have the Rhino 9x10 Ultimate have a path down the middle, staging down one side for potting, pots etc, a 2x6 raised bed down the other side, with a chair or freestanding staging at the back. This gives plenty of space for both moving around and growing a huge variety of plants from tomatoes (from the ground of hanging), succulents, herbs (pots on the staging), and other veggies and fruits such as peppers, courgettes, cucumbers, melons, blueberries and strawberries.

Thoughts from our Rhino community

Ultimate buyers often invest in a full electrical setup. Running 2.5mm SWA cable from your house or garage gives you the option of double sockets inside the greenhouse for heaters, propagation mats and grow lights. A tip from the community: decide whether you want to mount sockets on the Rhino frame or on a freestanding post before the build, as it affects your cable routing.

If your garden has a slope, don’t worry. It’s one of the most discussed practical challenges in the Rhino community, and the advice is consistent: get the base absolutely right before your greenhouse arrives. Whether you’re pouring a concrete slab, laying paving or building a perimeter plinth, take the time to level it properly. If you’re on a slope, a stepped approach with retaining walls is often the best solution.
